Fred Walser tops this week's Keyword Search List

The Whatcom County District Court recently ruled that Fred Walser, former Police Chief of Sultan, is guilty of providing false information to a public servant, a misdemeanor.

A public disclosure request was filed after Caroline Pepperell, Mr. Walser's assistant at the Sultan Police Department, allegedly used a police data base to run a background check on neighbors that she was involved in a dispute with.
