Republicans protest Democratic Energy Policies as Congress Adjourns

Republican members of Congress are angry at House Democrats who blocked a vote which would have allowed more off shore drilling and increased domestic oil supplies.

In protest, GOP members demanded that Congress stay in session until something is done about high gas and oil prices.

During the GOP "talk in," Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas shouted out: "Madame Speaker, where art thou?"

Rep. John Shadegg of Arizona, one of the organizers with Reps. Mike Pence of Indiana and Tom Price of Georgia, said the event was "the equivalent of the Boston Tea Party over the energy issue."
