THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY... WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM PST THIS EVENING.EXPECT 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW TODAY OVER WESTERN WHATCOM COUNTY.
HEAVIEST ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE NEAR THE CANADIAN BORDER FROM BLAINE THROUGH LYNDEN AND SUMAS.
AREAS AROUND BELLINGHAM WILL GENERALLY SEE AN INCH OR TWO.THE SNOW IS BEING CAUSED BY MOISTURE OVERRUNNING COOL AIR FLOWING SOUTHWEST OUT THE FRASER VALLEY. PRECIPITATION WILL TAPER OFF DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES.
